Like most people, balancing on just two hands seemed impossible when I first tried! But with time, patience, and consistent effort, I fell in love with arm balancing. It brings an element of fun to practice while also developing the kind of strength that only comes through repetition and a deep understanding of movement mechanics.

Hello! I’m Vicky (Vix) and my mission is to inspire and support people to practise yoga, a practise that cultivates strength, humility and connection.
After spending years on the mat and experiencing the physical and mental benefits that yoga has to offer, my purpose is to support others to take their practise to the next level, breaking through plateaus and perceived barriers to build physical and mental strength. At the heart of it, yoga is about love, compassion, kindness and connection, which we can achieve through a committed and dedicated practise.
I started practicing in 2017, completed my first training in 2019 and have completed multiple trainings in ashtanga, rocket and vinyasa. Teaching brings me so much joy and allows me to help people develop a deeper connection to their bodies while supporting their overall health and well-being—something I’ve always been passionate about but struggled to put into practise whilst working in healthcare. My own journey of building strength, flexibility, and control—learning to float, balance, and invert—has taught me patience, resilience, and confidence, and I love sharing that process with others. I believe yoga should be both empowering and playful, a space where you can challenge yourself while staying curious and lighthearted. Over the years, I’ve seen so many students overcome fear, injury, and self-doubt, gaining not only physical strength but also a profound respect and understanding of their bodies. It’s an honor to guide others on that journey, helping them break through their own limitations and experience the freedom and joy that yoga has to offer.
